William Harvey on 30 March 1774 (sic: actually 1775) was convicted of a burglary, sentenced to death but reprieved on condition of transportation: he escaped from gaol on 5 June 1775.  He was recaptured in the parish of Llan-Non.  It was a capital offence to be found at large in the country during the term of the transportation sentence (WALES 4/741/2).  Guilty verdict.
