Edward Higgins (of the parish of Winterbourne, Gloucestershire) on 26 June 1767 at about 12 o'clock at night in the parish of Laugharne burglariously entered the dwelling house of Dane Elizabeth Maude and stole a book entitled "Universal Pocket Book" (value 5/6) (WALES 4/738/6).    

He was hanged at Pensarn on Saturday 7 November.  In (C&iN) and (Gloucester Journal, Monday, 16th November)
