William Croeden the younger, aged 25. guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of John Theed in the parish of Hugenden on 19th November 1797: stealing therefrom a silver watch (valued at 30/-), its steel chain (valued at 6d), and steel seal (valued at 2d), 2 hempen sheets (valued at 6/-), a cotton gown (valued at 2/6), 3 women’s silk gowns (valued at 20/-), a silk petticoat (valued at 3/-), a dimity petticoat (valued at 3/-), a man’s cloth coat (valued at 3/-), an iron sword (valued at 6d), a fowling piece (valued at 3/-) and 1 gold half guinea.
