John Roberts (of the parish of Builth in Brecknockshire) in the parish of Bryneglwys on 21 August 1770 stole a gelding, value £12, belonging to Calvert Richard Jones (WALES 4/57/3).  His execution was ordered for "Monday month" (WALES 14/1). QS Trinity 1771 "John Roberts dieted .......to 6 May who was then executed" (QSD/SR/246 Ruthin)
