Samuel Walker in the parish of Wrexham Regis on 3 November 1748 assaulted John Davies with a knife (value 2d) striking and thrusting in the right side of his belly and giving him a mortal wound 2" broad and 3.5" deep of which he languished till 6 November when he died (WALES 4/49/6).  His execution was ordered for Monday 3 April at the usual place near Ruthin (WALES 14/1).
