John Saunders found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of William Chapman in the parish of Woodford on 16th March 1798: stealing therefrom 144 yards of ribbon (valued at £30), 20 yards of printed cotton (valued at £3) among other goods with a total value of £59.9.6d. Also found guilty on the indictment on which John Morris received a capital sentence (see previous entry).
