John Morris (otherwise John Bissell) , aged 21, found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of William Chapman in the parish of Woodford on 8th April 1798: stealing therefrom articles of clothing and cloth with a total value of £22.14.6d. Also found guilty on the indictment on which John Saunders received a capital sentence (see next entry).
