Samuel Parker and John Fox found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of John Howard in the parish of Stow Maries on 15th April 1781: stealing therefrom a silver pint mug (valued at £3), a silver pepper box (valued at 10/-), a black velvet waistcoat (valued at 20/-), a nankeen waistcoat (valued at 6/-), a pair of nankeen breeches (value at 6/-), 20 yards of linen cloth (valued at £3), 18 linen sheets (valued at £9), 12 linen shifts (valued at 40/-), a gauze handkerchief (valued at 1/-), a black silk handkerchief (value at 2/-),  a silk handkerchief (valued at 2/-),  2 linen handkerchiefs (valued at 2/-) and a pocket book (valued at 1/-).
