John Brabant (otherwise John Ward), Lawrence Wade and John Hutchins (otherwise John Hutchinson)  found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Aquila Scatchard in the parish of South Weald on 2nd January 1775: stealing therefrom a pair of white dimity pockets (valued at 1/-), a silver case (valued at 10/-), a pair of scissors with silver handles (valued at 6d), a small silver spoon (valued at 6d), 2 silver tablespoons (valued at 10/-), 3 silver teaspoons (value at 6/-), 2 iron keys (value at 6d), 4 gold guineas and 8/- in money numbered.
