John Powell found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of John Young in the parish of Ardleigh on 6th January 1747: stealing therefrom  2 gold guineas, 2 gold half guineas and 1/- in money numbered of John Powell; and a snuff box (valued at 6d), the property of Ann Baskett.
