Henry Johns (otherwise Henry John James) (of the parish of Eglwysilan) & Catherine Griffith (otherwise Catherine James) on 30 August 1791  burglariously entered the dwelling house of Catherine Price, widow, in the parish of St Fagans and stole many items of silver including candlesticks, an extinguisher, a saucepan, coffee pot, salver, pepper box and spoons with a total value of £30 (WALES 4/628/2).
