Thomas Hanscombe found guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of John Kimpton in the parish of Ickleford on 20th November 1754: stealing therefrom a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 18d), 2 silver teaspoons (valued at 3/-), a linen handkerchief (valued at 12d),  4 linen shirts (valued at 12/-), a hat (valued at 2/-) and a fowling piece (valued at 40/-).  He ws respited for a month on 13th March.
