Thoams Jenkins guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Charles Lewis in the parish of Chepstow on 22nd March 1796: stealing therefrom a piece of green woollen stuff (6 yards valued at 7/-), 9 yards of velveteen (valued at 40/-), 4 yards of flannel (valued at 4/-), 2 yards of green serge (valued at 6/-), 5 yards of pillow fustian (valued at 4/10), 1½ yards of woollen cloth, called coating (valued at 10/-), 1½ yards of cashmere (valued at 9/-), 1½ yards of worsted and silk Morella (valued at 7/6), 2½ yards of white fustian (valued at 2/6), 5 yards of narrow woollen cloth (valued at 6/-), 6 yards of striped cashmere (valued at 30/-), 4 yards of Broadcloth (valued at £3.3/-), ¾ yards of thick flannel (valued at 1/-) and 1 yard of striped Toilonet (valued at 4/6). No reprieve traced.
