John Price in the parish of Aston on 7 June 1747 assaulted Richard Gothin with an Hedge Bill striking, beating, bruising and wounding him and giving him a mortal wound 3" long and 0.5" deep whereof he languished till 9 June when he died (WALES 4/182/5). He was ordered for execution on Thursday 10 September (WALES 14/1). (but see Note to 1765 below).
