Alfred Moore was convicted for the murder of Duncan A Fraser 46 and Arthur Jagger 44 who were shot at Whinney Close Farm, Kirkheaton, Huddersfield on 15 July 1951.

Police beleived that Alfred Moore was responsible for a string of burglaries and were staking out his farm in the hope that they would be able to catch him returning from a burglary red handed.
