John Price guilty of the highway robbery of Thomas Knight in the parish of Great Haseley on 31st December 1784: robbing him of 2 pairs of woollen stockings (valued at 1/-), a clasp knife (valued at 6d), a pair of platd shoe buckles (valued at 6d), a pair of leather shoes (valued at 4/-), a linen handkerchief (valued at 1/-), a lnen shirt (valued at 3/-), 4 copper halfpennies and 4/6 in money numbered.  After execution his body was hanged in chains on Milton Common.
