James Turner, aged 25, guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Roger Clerk in the parish of Shifnall on 26th October 1786:  stealing therefrom 10 pieces of silver coin (with a value 2/-), a leather pocket book (valued at 1/-), a black lead pencil (valued at 2d), a pair of scissors (valued at 1/-), a knife with 2 blades (valued at 2d) and £20 in money numbered.
