Samuel Wheatley guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Samuel Nixon in the parish of Stanton Lacy on 13th February 1774: stealing therefrom a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 5/-), 28 silk and muslin handkerchiefs (valued at 30/-), 4 yards of silk ribbon (valued at 2/-), 14 pairs of worsted stockings (valued at 16/-), 3 pairs of thread stockings (valued at 6/-), 10 remnants of silk ribbon (valued at 20/-), 20 yards of linen cloth (valued at 20/-), 2 yards of lawn (valued at 4/-), 20 linen handkerchiefs (valued at 10/-) and 120 copper halfpennies.
