John Riddle, aged 45, guilty of the murder of Thomas Ward, by shooting him in the neck, in the parish of St Mary Stafford on 12th February 1793.  John Bettley, aged 29, and Richard Ellis, aged 29, guilty of being present and aiding, helping, abetting, comforting, assisting and maintaining John Riddle in the commission of the murder.
