Thomas  Jackson guilty of stealing 6 worked chair covers (valued at £3), a silk petticoat (valued at 20/-), 2 silk sleeve bows (valued at 6d), a cotton quilted petticoat (valued at 20/-), 4 linen window curtains (valued at 20/-) and 50 yards of linen cloth (valued at £6) - the property of Mary Parker, widow, in her dwelling house in the parish of Wolverhampton on 28th June 1782.  He committed suicide in gaol and afterwards his body was hung on the gallows on 7th April.
