Thomas Jackson

Thomas  Jackson guilty of stealing 6 worked chair covers (valued at £3), a silk petticoat (valued at 20/-), 2 silk sleeve bows (valued at 6d), a cotton quilted petticoat (valued at 20/-), 4 linen window curtains (valued at 20/-) and 50 yards of linen cloth (valued at £6) - the property of Mary Parker, widow, in her dwelling house in the parish of Wolverhampton on 28^th June 1782.  He committed suicide in gaol and afterwards his body was hung on the gallows on 7^th April.
