Lawrence Roberts guilty of being found at large in the Kingdom having been tried at the City of York Assizes on 19th March 1739 for a burglary in the dwelling house of Mary Drake in the parish of St Martin: stealing therefrom a canvas purse (valued at 1d), 20 gold guineas and 20 gold half guineas; found guilty and sentenced to death but reprieved for transportation on 25th July 1739.  No reprieve traced
