Richard Sarbridge (otherwise Richard Herbert) , aged 23, and Joseph Ogle, aged 33, found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of William Strudwick in the parish of Leatherhead on 27th May 1782: stealing therefrom 13 pieces of printed cotton measuring 101 yards (valued at £10), 5 pieces of printed linen measuring 51 yards (valued at £5), 10 pairs of cotton stockings (valued at 30/-), 3 pieces of long lawn measuring 9 yards (valued at 27/-), 5 linen handkerchiefs (valued at 10/-), 3 pieces of figured lawn measuring 18 yards (valued at 54/-), 12 diaper tablecloths (valued at 48/-), 37 pieces of ribbon measuring 100 yards (valued at 33/-), 4 pieces of silk ribbon measuring 20 yards (valued at 6/-), 6 pieces of blue silk lace measuring 30 yards (valued at 30/-), 9 pieces of white thread lace measuring 35 yards (valued at 32/-), 3 small handkerchiefs (valued at 9/-), 7 yards of white thread lace (valued at 3/-) and a piece of black silk ribbon measuring 10 yards (valued at 2/-)..
