Patrick Carraher was convicted of the culpable homicide of James Sydney Emden 23 and sentenced to 3 years jail in 1938. He stabbed him to death.
In February 1946 Patrick Carraher stabbed John Gordon 39 in a street fight with a chisel causing him to bleed to death. Three men were arrested but only Patrick Carraher was charged and following a trial he was sentenced to death.
