Christopher Ellis found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of Elizabeth Binfield in the parish of S John, Southwark on 25^th May 1776; and stealing therefrom 2 stone rings set in gold (valued at 20/-), a silver milk pot (valued at 12/-), a shot painted silk apron (valued at 5/-),   a muslin apron (valued at 7/-), a cooking glass in a carved and gilt frame (valued at 20/-)3 linen cloths (valued at 3/-), 11 muslin neckerchiefs (valued at 8/-) and a flowered lawn toilet (valued at 1/-) the goods and chattels of Elizabeth Binfield; and 2 yards and 1 nail of Irish linen cloth (valued at 5/-) the goods of Elisabeth Saunders.
