William Sanson for rioting at Bishopstone on 17th April: stealing 3 bottles of rum (valued at 6/6) in the dwelling house of Thomas Barton as well as hempen sacks and wheat flour (valued at £10) the property of Thomas Barton and Edmund Catt.  These executions followed the Special Commission held for the trial of rioters at which they were the only recipients of death sentences
