Spence Broughton guilty of the highway robbery of George Bosley in the parish of Rotherham on 29th January 1791: robbing him of a leather portmanteau (valued at £2) and a leather bag (valued at 1/-), the property of the King.  His body ws afterwards hanged in chains on Attercliffe Common
