John Doidge murdered Roger Drew at Stepney-by-Launceston. they had been drinking at the same pub and John Doidge had left shortly after Roger Drew. The evidence was circumstantial but Professor Taylor proved that there were minute sprinkles of blood on his clothes but he could not tell if the blood was human or animal. He also had a bill-hook that had blood on it.
