Saturday, 1 September 1770 (Cambridge Chronicle to be executed Sat 1 September) Nicholas Brown guilty of stopping Peter Dunn (otherwise Dixon), post boy on Newmarket Heath, between Bournbridge and Newmarket, on 23rd April: demanding money of him and on his refusal shooting at him and dangerously wounding him in the head and face (Cambridge Chronicle Sat 28 April 1770).
