Spring 1750 ??

Ellis Thomas of the parish of Llanyebil ? on 20 November 1749 in the parish of Llanbeblig stole a gelding value 40/- belonging to Ellis Thomas Ellis (WALES 4/272/2).  An examination of ETE is dated 20 November and puts the theft on 8 November.  He does not appear in the C&DH list of hangings nor have I traced a reprieve. It is possible he escaped from gaol or died there.
