Robert Ellis on 22 October 1743 broke into the house of Elizabeth David in the parish of Llanerchymedd and stole (WALES 4/251/2).  Hanged April (BGE).

There is a petition from the Sheriff of Anglesey to the Exchequer dated 9.4.45 in which he requests reimbursement of extraordinary expenses for an executioner (............)
