Joseph Jones of the parish of Pentir, Caernarfonshire on 10 December 1743 broke into the church of Llandysilio and stole: one surplice, value 5/-, one Welsh Bible value 5/-, and two Welsh Books of Common Prayer, value 5/- (WALES 4/251/2). Hanged April (BGE).
