Saturday, 15 August 1778 (Bath Chronicle) Stephen Dicker indicted for robbing John Briggs in his dwelling house in the parish of Old Windsor on 25th September 1777 of a cloth coat (valued at 40/-), a cloth waistcoat (valued at 5/-), a linen shirt (valued at 5/-), a muslin neckcloth (valued at 1/-), a pistol (valued at 3/-), a gold sovereign and 2/- in money numbered.
