James Chadwick and Henry Baker both of Manchester, guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of John and Thomas Eccles in Lancaster on 28th November 1803:  stealing therefrom a cotton purse (valued at 1d), 156 gold guineas, 40 gold half-guineas, 2 silver 5/- pieces, 1 silver dollar (value 4/-), 2 silk handkerchiefs (valued at 4/-), a linen handkerchief (valued at 1/-) and a piece of linen (valued at 1d).
