John Allen (aged 31)  guilty of feloniously, wilfully, knowingly personating and falsely assuming the name and character of John Wilson, a seaman”, in the parish of Portsmouth on 28th August 1801 in order to receive Prize Money due to him on account of service done on board His Majesty’s ship “La Nymphe”.
