Charles Compton (otherwise James Clark) , aged 18, and John Disney, aged 40, found guilty on an indictment for stealing a key (valued at 1/-), the property of Thomas Shank; a watch (valued at £1.11/-), a chain (Valued at 6d) and a silk cloak (valued at 5/-) - the property of Margaret Seager; and a watch (valued at £1.5/-), a chain (valued at 6d) and 2 seals (valued at 3/-) - the property of Francis Dexter in the dwelling house of Thomas Shank in the parish of Loughton on 5th September 1800.
