William Fynche was convicted of grand larceny.

On 25 May 1558 he broke into the house of Richard Hodge at Sible Hedingham and stole a gold royal (10s), an English crown (5s), a French crown (6s. 4d.), 28s. in money, a silver ring (20d) and a silver 'mollett' (12d).

He was sentenced to hang but hanging not confirmed.
