Julian Baruco was convicted of the murder of Antoni Lucana. Execution not confirmed.

Julian Baruco was an Italian and Antoni Lucana a Spaniard and they were both onboard the El Thetis Spanish frigate when a trifling quarrel broke out. However, it was soon apparenlty settled although 15 minutes later Julian Baruco snuck up on Antoni Lucana when he had an opportunity and stabbed Antoni Lucana in the left side causing him to die the next day.
